Interior Design
We turn dreams into reality by assisting our clients in determining their goals whilst taking into consideration their specific requirements. We transform concepts into reality by seeing through an entire project from the creation of preliminary plans to preparing detailed plans that would include all the necessary services and trades that are required within a particular building. We place orders for materials and oversee their installation, build a timeline, estimate project costs and also supervise the works on site.
Our approach
Our process consists of 5 stages so as to ensure that a project is delivered to the highest standards. We however give our clients the opportunity to stop at any stage of the process.
- Initial Meeting Stage. We start off with an initial meeting so as to get to know the clients and understand what their requirements are. During this stage we mainly listen and evaluate whether the project is viable in terms of timing and budgeting plans vis-a-vis goals.
- Concept Design Stage. This involves the presentation of rough drawings and illustrations to ensure that the client’s brief has been perceived correctly. If during this stage structural alterations are proposed or required, our architects will take over the structural sections.
- Design Development Stage. Once we agree on the concept we move on this stage which involves the finalizing of the design and the specifying of items and materials. This is followed by the production of technical drawings which would be required on site for electrical, plumbing, gypsum works etc and in workshops for the production of furniture, soft furnishings etc.
- Costings Stage. During this stage construction documents are prepared together with a bill of quantities that reflect the detailed drawings and specifications. These are sent to various contractors so that they may quote or bid within the set budget and timeframe.
- Construction Stage. This is the final stage during which works are being implemented on site. Our job is to co-ordinate all the trades and ensure that the works are carried out to the required standards within the agreed timeframe and kept within the set budget.
