The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the success of a construction project. A PM manages every aspect, including the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of a project. It is vital that a good client relationship is maintained throughout the project. A project manager ensures that all contractual agreements are respected, that a project is executed in a timely manner within specific budgets, and up to a good quality standard. The PM reports directly to the client and guides the client accordingly. A PM will dedicate the necessary time required to a project so that the client may focus on other business activities.
Initially, a PM may seem like an additional expense however a PM keeps projects within scope and on target whilst maximizing efficiency and minimizing cost.
